I had a conversation with my mother today about the different charities we supported. We both agreed to do a bit more for our childrens charities. When I was walking back from Baker Street and met James today in Marylebone Station. He works for the a Charity called Healing UK. His day started at 06.00 am and finishes late afternoon - I admired his commitment. James and I had a very interesting conversation about his work for the Charity. He was gracious and very friendly, I like him.
The Charity raises money for people and disadvantaged children. They also fund health care treatment for people with life challenges and threatening conditions. Treament like reflexology and massage can make a big difference to our quality of life, consider how much of a difference it would make to someone who needs this treatment and yet cannot afford the cost. The Charity's work is based on paying qualified therapists a community rate and they will also initially fund a course of treatments for each individual.

When I reached Clifton Gardens, I noticed this sign - Save The Children. I stopped because, conversation with my mother about doing more to support children came to mind when I saw this sign. It was like the universe communicating with me. I went inside and spoke to two lovely ladies Sasha and Heather.
I learnt that their charity is called Save The Children.
With the news constantly bombarding us with information about the well being of children, my experience today has got me present to the great work being done by volunteers and that there is still a lot more work to be done.
