The debate about which brand is better will go on forever and we as consumers will honour the integrity of our label "CONSUMERS" - we will consume far more than we will ever need.
Photography, like magic, is a very expensive hobby and I made a promise to myself that I would learn everything there is to know about my camera "THE D90" before my next upgrade. I have had my camera now 4 years - there are better models on the market right now. In fact, I know that the Nikon D7100 is the next step up to my D90.
My declaration is reaping huge benefits; I am slowly learning what my camera is capable of. Recently, my friend Gabby, from Germany introduced me to the joy of "BACK BUTTON FOCUSING" and the hidden gem "Auto ISO". I have been practicing with these new discoveries along with different "White Balance" settings and I am appreciating how much more defined my colours look. Part of my goal is to capture authentic colours, along with great composition, all in camera so that I can minimise how much time I spend at the computer.
