Over the last weekend, I spent sometime in Edinburgh. I was invited to this enchanting city to lecture to a group of magicians called "The Nine of Diamonds". For those of you who aren't aware, the nine of diamonds is considered to be "The Curse of Scotland" - an unlucky playing card. I was able to factor in some photography time. This first shot was taken after dinner on the day of my performance and it captures the splendor of Edinburgh at night.
On the Sunday morning, I went for a camera walk before my flight home and I thought to myself, you need to be in good physical shape to live here. Edinburgh is built on a mountain. The famous Edinburgh Castle is built on a volcano and to get to the Castle is a long walk, up hill, along The Royal Mile.

The collection of images below reflect my very short morning walk and hopefully gives a sense of the scale of this extraordinary city. I have promised myself to return to Edinburgh very soon, hopefully for the Festival in August.
